MS431 Base Engineer

Location: Aberdeen

Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 DOE

Overview: First Military Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Base Engineer on behalf of one of our Clients. The Base Engineer will report to the Survey & Subsea department head and will be responsible for managing the company s survey assets, ensuring that they are ready for deployment to project, and providing technical support to the offshore team.

This role would suit ex-military candidates and applications from former service personnel are encouraged.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Management of the company s survey equipment - (Computers, GPS receivers, UAV drones, Inspection ROVs, Gyrocompasses, Motion sensors, Geophysical data acquisition systems both subsea and terrestrial, radio telemetry, oceanographic).
  • Maintaining workshop and equipment records in accordance with company procedures.
  • Preparation & maintenance of equipment for deployment to project.
  • Providing technical support to live projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • HND or Degree qualification in relevant engineering discipline.
  • 3-5 years minimum experience in similar onshore/offshore role.
  • Valid driving licence.
