Job Description

Independent engineering consultancy working on projects in the high voltage (HV) / power distribution industry requires a Civil / Structural Engineer for substation design schemes.

The Civil / Structural Engineer will be responsible for design of roads and drainage, as well as fencing and the substation buildings (reinforced concrete, brick and metal / steel-framed).

A degree in civil engineering / structural engineering is required, as is experience as a Civil / Structural Design Engineer. Proficiency using standard industry software, such as Tedds, is essential.

The consultancy is based in South Yorkshire, although hybrid / fully remote working is an option.
