Job Description

Class 1 Driver (Limited Company/Self-Employed)

Shift Pattern: Night Shift (18:00 - 04:00) - Minimum 10 hoour shifts

Pay Rates:

  • Night shifts: 19.00 per hour (LTD)

Job Description: M4 Recruitment is currently seeking experienced a Self Employed Class 1 Drivers for ongoing night shift work. This role involves shunting and dropping and swapping trailers, focusing on the road delivery of imports and exports of air freight.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shunting trailers and performing drop and swap operations.
  • Delivering and collecting air freight in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility: Shifts may vary each week.
  • YOU MUST BE SELF EMPLYED
  • Self employed with a LTD company
  • Self employed with a Company bank account
  • PPE: Must have safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Licenses and Certifications:
  • HGV Class 1 license with CPC and Tacho card qualifications.
  • Level D Certificate (assistance with obtaining this can be provided by the company).
  • Current valid DBS with no disqualifying convictions.
  • Experience:
  • Full 5-year employment history with references.
  • No more than 3 points for minor offences on your license.

Shift Details:

  • Both ongoing and part-time work available.
  • Day, night, and weekend shifts offered.
  • Shift lengths vary with a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per shift.
