We are a well-respected, SME Building Services Consultancy in York . As our business grows we are looking for an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to join us.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the directors working on fit out and new build projects within the education, commercial, heritage, high end residential, retail, leisure and public sectors.

We understand the need to work flexibly, with some hybrid working. In fact, it s necessary to work flexibly, visiting clients and sites, often starting the day at home and then getting together in the office to collaborate for some part of the week.
You
To be successful in this role you will most likely have ONC Building Services, HNC Building Services or a degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering and experience commensurate with the underpinning and knowledge requirements for Incorporated Engineer aligned to either IET or CIBSE requirements.
The Role
Working on projects from inception to completion you will survey, design, coordinate, report and inspect the installation of electrical services in buildings.
The position will involve work on new build, redevelopment and refurbishment projects featuring strip out and demolition, utility services works and the full suite of building services design activities.
You will see your designs come to fruition through client engagement, site visits and handover. The role will cover a full range of consultancy and engineering activities.
