As a result of winning new business in the East Midlands area an excellent opportunity has arisen for a forklift field service engineer to join the team.

As a Forklift Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a variety of forklift trucks within the East Midlands region. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation and optimal performance of the clients' forklift fleets. This position offers a challenging and dynamic work environment, allowing you to showcase your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a range of forklift trucks.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform scheduled servicing and inspections.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies.
• Utilize technical manuals and diagnostic equipment effectively.
• Complete accurate service records and reports.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a field service engineer or a similar role.
• Experience of working on forklift trucks, construction plant, powered access, agricultural machinery, municipal vehicles or military plant and equipment.
• Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time.
• A valid driver's license is required.

Basic salary will be 45,000pa- 50,000pa + vehicle + overtime + benefits. In addition, you will be paid door to door.
