Lead Electrical Engineer
City of London
£50,000 - £50,000

This is a great opportunity for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join a well respected building services company in the heart of the City of London in a high end commercial property. In this role you will be expected to look after three engineers in an eighteen story commercial office space. This is a high profile contract where you will be looking after a team of 3 maintenance engineers, ensuring statuary compliance is being met and building relations with the client. This role will follow a Monday - Friday (8 - 5)

The successful candidate will have prior experience as a Shift Lead/Supervisor, fully qualified in Electrical Installations, (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) the ability to lead a team and posses a great attitude.

Duties:
  • PPM & Reactive maintenance Log books
  • Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators (on/off load tests), LV/HV switching, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, Bearings, Seals, BMS Operation
  • Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
  • Organising subcontractors
  • Completing logbooks and RAMS
  • Liaising with client representatives in respect of corrective repair works.
  • Permits to work

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • Ability to lead a team of maintenance engineers
  • Prior experience as a Shift Lead / Supervisor is essential
  • Commercial Building Service Maintenance Experience (At least 5 years prior)
  • Career driven and ambition to progress further
  • Polite and personable
  • LV / HV ticket - Desirable
  • Apprentice trained - Desirable

Salary and Benefits:

  • £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
  • Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
