Job Description

Logistics Administrator

Our Client, an FMCG sector company, are looking to recruit a Logistics Administrator on a permanent basis. They have a proven track record in developing talent and providing excellent career progression prospects.

Key responsibilities - Logistics Administrator:

  • Receiving/placing orders from customers
  • Manging the bookings of customer collections from site
  • Providing support major UK retailers
  • Supporting in-office transport, reception and POD teams.
  • Supporting the commercial team with client management and future business
  • Supporting yard, operations and loading staff

Skills & experience- Logistics Administrator:

  • Prior experience within an order processing, customer service or administrative role
  • Customer service focus with excellent communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Highly accurate with a strong attention to detail
  • Positive and pro-active attitude with the ability to work under pressure and under your own initiative
  • Able to efficiently use a computer including Microsoft Office and willingness to learn other business critical software
  • Ability to work as part of a team supporting colleagues where necessary

Hours - Logistics Administrator

  • Monday to Friday 0800 to 1700 (1-hour lunch break)
  • On-Call, one weekend per month

Benefits- Logistics Administrator:

  • Basic salary £27,664 p/a
  • On call allowance £2,400 p/a
  • Discretionary bonus £1,000 p/a
  • Overtime paid at £19.95 p/h (Saturday)
  • 08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break)
