Job Description

Our client is looking for a Recruitment Resourcer to join their team in bathgate! The succesful candidate will sit in the hustle and bustle of their operation, and will be responsible for recruiting, inducting and retaining incredicle candidates across their Scottish Mainland Sites!

They are looking for somebody who has experience within a logistics operation, ideally within a recruitment capacity, although training will be provided.

LOGISTICS RECRUITER DUTIES

  • Post job adverts (Delivery Driver, HGV Driver, Warehouse Operatives) via their recruitment portal, TalentSpa
  • Screen new CV's within 24 hours to ensure each candidate recieves a communication from us - Every application deserves a response!
  • Communicate confidently with candidates via email and telephone to update them on their application status
  • Interview candidates to guarentee the perfect person-job match
  • Deliver good and bad news - Not all interviews lead to hires, however the ideal candidate will be comfortable providing constructive feedback
  • Offer Management - Secure new starters and confirm start dates
  • Induct new employees into our business and check in on our new starters after their 3 days service
  • Distribute contracts and add new starters onto payroll
  • Keep TalentSpa up to date and come up with great ideas to progress our recruitment function

LOGISTICS RECRUITER REQUIREMENTS

  • A background in recruitment is essential (recruitment coordinator / recruitment administrator ..... this is your next step!)
  • An understanding of the logistics sector is preferable
  • Able to travel to their Bathgate depot at least 3 times per week
  • Must be PC literate
  • Must be confident to speak to candidates over the telephone
