My client is looking for an experienced mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join an expanding team on a permanent basis in the Hexham area with an immediate start available.
Package -
Salary is 37,100 + on call allowance = 45,000
Potential earnings - 50,000
Monday to Friday
39 hours per week
20 retainer when on call
Mileage paid when on call
Responsibilities -
Design maintenance strategies, procedures and methods
Carry out routine maintenance work and respond to equipment faults
Diagnose breakdown problems
Fit new parts and make sure equipment is working correctly
Carry out quality inspections on jobs
Liaise with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
Arrange specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings or component
Experience with gearboxes, motors and burning
Requirements -
Ideally from a heavy industrial background
Must have knowledge of three power phase
Diving license
Must live within an 1 hour drive from Hexham
