A leading Manufacturer of Packaging products are recruiting for a career driven Maintenance Engineer to join their expanding business. They have multiple openings in the team and can bring someone in from a Electrical background (or multi skilled). The business are a true market leader in their field and have recently invested in cutting edge equipment at their state of the art facility. The role

  • Be safety conscious, follow safety protocols issued to assess, negate risk and work safely at all times
  • Carry out preventive maintenance plans as per work orders that are aligned with maintenance goals and OEM guidance
  • Plan your work day to ensure maintenance schedules are up to date in collaboration with the Maintenance planner around reactive work, generating work orders as appropriate using CMMS
  • Coordinate with other maintenance staff, including Facilities staff, contractors, and external vendors
  • Ability to balance a busy workload and prioritise whilst retaining a smile
  • Follow policies and procedure to ensure product integrity and safety at all times whilst working on equipment
  • Align to environmental aspirations to work Carbon neutral

Role Requirements

  • experienced in maintenance engineering role within an FMCG or similar fast paced manufacturing environment
  • HNC qualified (or equivalent) as a minimum.
  • SCADA engineering operation level experience
  • PLC fault finding/ladder experience
  • Some basic mechanical experience ideal
