Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Westbury, Wiltshire

Full Time, Permanent

£33,675 + Overtime + Call Out Payments

Monday to Friday 07:00- 15:00

My client, a nationally recognised producer of agricultural products, is looking for a multi-skilled, mechanically biased technician to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

They are offering a smooth working week, with most of the work being planned maintenance, on a highly desirable monday to friday shift pattern.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate strong fault finding, repairing and maintenance experience working across a manufacturing plant, being a medium-heavy plant, it would benefit you to have had similar industry experience. However, we are welcoming of all industry backgrounds. It is imperative that you are confident working on a range of systems and have a can-do attitude when it comes to problem solving. You should hold a relevant mechanical qualification plus experience working with electrical and mechanical systems.

Working as part of a multi-skilled and disciplined engineering team, your ultimate objective is to ensure the smooth running of all production and process machinery. This will include: responding to breakdowns- reactive maintenance (20%), conducting servicing on machinery- planned maintenance (80%), project work- installations, modifications, upgrades and more.
