Job Description

Panel Beater

Our client are a growing car body repair centre based in Leicester. Due to continued growth and success they currently have a vacancy for an experienced Panel Beater/Body Technician on a permanent and full time basis. Realistic earning potential of up to 50,000 per annum.

Panel Beater Main duties:

  • Undertake replacement or repair of panels using all required aspects of panel beating including use of filler, pin puller, MIG, Mig Brazing, Spot welder.

  • Filler work

  • MET: Strip and refit of existing or new parts.

  • Complete work to a high standard ready for paint shop ensuring work meets internal quality checks

  • Work as part of a team to ensure efficiency throughout the shop

Panel Beater Essential experience & skills:

  • Previous experience working as a Panel Beater in a Body shop/Accident Repair environment.

  • A good level of fitness and ability to move heavy and large parts

  • The ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Handle all vehicles with due care and attention ensuring that customer care/satisfaction is maintained at all times.

  • Team player who works well under pressure and has a passion for both customer service and keeping up to date with the latest automotive technologies.

Panel Beater Additional details

  • Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4.30pm (42.5-hour week)

  • Up to 43,000.00 per year basic salary depending on experience (circa 19.23 p/h basic)

  • Overtime available weekdays and every Saturday (pay rate 25.00 p/h)

  • Realistic earning potential of up to 50,000 per annum

  • Permanent, no agency
