Procurement Manager - Solihull - £45K

Are you a seasoned procurement professional looking for an exciting opportunity to lead and innovate in a fast-paced environment? Join my client's team as a Procurement Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company's supply chain operations.

As the Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the procurement process, from sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. You will collaborate closely with various departments to understand their needs and develop strategic procurement plans that align with the company's objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
  • Adapting and improving the value, sustainability, and sourcing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Management of all the company purchasing
  • Maintaining the company's inventory and raw materials
  • Leading the sourcing and supply chain

Skills required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field. (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing procurement processes and driving cost savings.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Facilities management skills are advantageous
