Quality Inspector Cambridge £16.50ph DOE

Your work will involve methodical inspections, thorough defect identification and documentation, collaborating with engineering teams to implement data-driven corrective actions. Your role will be essential to maintaining the integrity of our client s manufacturing process.

As Quality Inspector, you ll be responsible for:

  • Mid and Final inspection of mechanical components
  • Using hand-held measuring equipment e.g. verniers, micrometres and thread gauges to measure to a high level of accuracy and precision
  • Recommending necessary adjustments and changes to manufacturing processes
  • Working from specifications and technical drawings
  • General housekeeping duties

As the successful Quality Inspector, you ll have:

  • Prior experience using inspection equipment such as verniers and micrometres
  • Strong understanding of technical drawings and specifications
  • Ability to use computer systems
  • Residence within sensible distance to our customers site
  • Consistent work history and employers we can obtain references from
  • A strong eye for detail and problem-solving skills
