Job Description

Our Client is a market leader in the provision of international and domestic parcel solutions to both businesses and home addresses.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an SENIOR INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS MANAGER based remotely but covering a National remit. You will be responsible for working with all domestic clients generating and closing opportunities for International volume. You will be a Cross border and sales specialist within the International function of our clients business, working closely with the client development team to enhance product knowledge, create a substantial pipeline and increase share of wallet throughout the client base.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete and own any internal bid/tender processes for International, interacting with senior individuals within the domestic client base.
Meeting or exceed targets of new business (generated through existing domestic client base)
Grow the overall profit of the International P&L by closing high margin deals.
Build and hold close relationships with the client development function, owning the onboarding process of any new International Business.
Manage and grow any onboarded International Clients.
Participate in companywide projects where required.
Contribute to overall business strategy including target markets, products and proposition.
Seek opportunities to increase knowledge of competitors and contribute to our clients competitor matrix.
Work with the Product and Marketing teams to influence the direction of the International Product Portfolio.
Work directly with clients and client teams to ensure the products are continuing to fulfil the specific needs and demands of the current and future client base, and feed any opportunities for product enhancement and development into the wider business.
National travel (sometimes Internationally if required)

Skills and experience required
Highly experienced International selling/account management background is essential.
Knowledge of selling to the B2C sector.
Proven track record of selling Internationally.
An excellent level of insight into the market and customer needs and the drivers of customer experience.
The ability to respond and work at pace on a variety of projects.
Outgoing, engaging and confident.
Excellent written, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to build strong working relationships internally and externally.
Technical Skills - Microsoft Office package.
Pro-active individual with the ability to self-manage.
Strong team player keen to work across departments and develop clear recommendations using multiple data sources.
Willing to question and critically evaluate current ways of working.
Strong negotiation skills and a proven track record influencing at board level.
Ability to deliver under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A credible, articulate individual who can both build and influence excellent cross functional relationships.
