Do you want to use your electrical knowledge and gain experience in energy efficiency methods, working with large social housing providers and domestic customers on electrical installations.
This Company are renewable specialists in energy conservation by helping people within fuel poverty reduce their energy bills. They have gone from strength to strength in the last 10 years, growing successfully in a booming industry.
In this position you will be conducting routines and testing on electrical installation systems while regularly visiting domestic properties to do this. Using your experience to guide others and monitor that all installations are carried out correctly.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Solar PV and be good at communicating to guide the sub-contractors on their electrical works by having a strong leadership style.
This is an exciting opportunity for an electrician to move into a role where you have the chance to upskill within renewable energy and its new technologies, while working for a family run business with a friendly atmosphere.
- Carrying out electrical testing and maintenance on domestic electrical installations making sure they meet manufacturing standards
- Conducting toolbox talks and training people on applications that are used on sites
- Carrying out technical monitoring to upskill sub-contractor network.
- Completing mid and post installation audits on works sub-contractors are completing.
- 18th Edition Electrician
- Good understanding of electrical requirements
- Solar PV experience or qualifications are desirable
- Full UK Driving License
- Based in Devon / Cornwall
