The Role Reporting to the Chief Software Engineer, you will be getting involved from migration, updating, and developing existing software for large scale electro-mechanical assemblies. The role will involve developing modern applications from start to finish i.e old versions of Python and C++. You will then lead developments on new applications (project based) and hugely input into the Software team. As they are a growing SME company, there can be room for progression moving forwards.
Qualifications and Skills - Essential - Degree level BEng or higher in relevant discipline
- At least 1-3+ professional experience post qualification
- Must have C++ experience and ideally Python
- Desktop application - due to the critical nature of what they do
- TCP/IP networking
- Must have experience on Linxus based systems
- Strong influencer in relation to advising the customer
- Commutable to Leeds
- A hobbyist would fit this role really well
