Job Description

Supply Chain Coordinator / Order Management



Monday - Friday

Salary: £28,000

Do you have previous experience of supply chain coordination and order management within a manufacturing or similar business?

Are you confident with systems and have exceptional excel skills?

Working in a team of 3, reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for the cradle to grave supply chain process within a busy technology manufacturer. You will look after your own key customers, ensuring their delivery schedules are met.

This role will initially be home based, with a phased return to the office later this year.

Roles and Responsibilities for the Supply Chain Coordinator include:

  • Take ownership, manage and communicate to key customers the progress of their orders
  • Manage parts supply and liaise with the purchaser and suppliers
  • Purchase order placement and expediting of orders
  • Ensure that customers delivery requirements are met
  • Troubleshoot any orders that do not meet customers' needs
  • Support production staff with any queries
  • Create, manage and run reports on SAP

To be successful in the role of the Supply Chain Coordinator you must have:

  • Previous supply chain order management experience
  • SAP would be ideal
  • Have exceptional systems skills (Excel advanced)
  • A positive, enthusiastic person
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Confident communicator who can pick things up quickly
  • A natural forward planner, able to prioritise work
