Warehouse and Stock Control Associate- Empties Please

Location: Winsford, Cheshire
Type: Permanent
Hours: Full-time, 42.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm
Salary: 10.82 per hour
Reports to: Empties Please Team Leader

Role Overview:

We are looking for one additional Warehouse and Stock Control Associate in Empties Please to help with the day-to-day smooth running of our Winsford Warehouse, which is based on Winsford Industrial Estate in Cheshire.

Reporting to the Empties Please Team Leader, the Associate will be receiving and sorting inks and toners from incoming deliveries, booking these into the WMS and transferring them to their stock locations.

In addition, this role will involve picking and packing of outgoing items for shipping, including preparation of appropriate paperwork. This must be done accurately and in a tidy and organised manner.

The successful candidate will also maintain stock replenishment, stock rotation and involvement in stock-take activity as and when required.

We would like someone to join us as soon as possible as we are getting busy in the run up to the holidays. We would love to hear from anyone with a good warehousing background.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Receive and check all deliveries to the warehouse.
Record incoming stock onto our computer system. Check off items as they arrive. Contact the Buying team with irregularities.
Transfer stock to the correct warehouse as required.
Keep products tidy and take care when handling products.
Maintain stock rotation and take part in stock checks as and when necessary, with the wider team.
Pick and pack items for customer orders. Dispatch goods to customers. Quickly and with care for the product and the appearance of the package. Make sure all correct paperwork is in each package and input data into computer system to say the package has been dispatched.

Skills Required:

Alert and aware, able to keep up with the deliveries and confident to question any discrepancies as you see fit.
Team player, happy to lend a hand. This department is helpful and hardworking and complete really tidy work that they are proud to distribute.
Confidential when receiving goods for the business and when destroying customer details.
Takes pride in work and has a keen eye for detail.
Good communicator. Able to speak a good level of English.
Comfortable using computers at a basic level- inputting information, sending emails etc.
