My distribution client are looking for an experienced warehouse manager to join there team in Theale.
The ideal candidate will have experience with:
Managing a Warehouse team, (eg. agreeing holidays, doing return to work, sorting out people queries, appraisals, ensuring stock control and checks are carried out.)
Giving Comprehensive to ensure that all members of the warehouse team are experienced in all warehouse processes and procedures.
Ensuring that the warehouse team are carrying out general housekeeping tasks.
Reporting any stock running low on date.
Ensuring that purchase orders match to deliveries and are given to finance.
Manage third party booking, collections, deliveries and invoicing.
Provide overtime information to payroll
Supply weekly Rota of staff for the warehouse
Liaise with Transport supervisor on and changes to routes and product loads.
In the absence of the Transport Supervisor, supervising the transport department to ensure that journeys are made in an effective and efficient way and all queries are dealt with.
Ensure that all warehouse procedures are followed (in line with BRC guidelines).
