Job Description

Our client needs an innovative thinker who can implement and lead change across its distribution network in this newly created and exciting role of a National Warehouse and Distribution Manager. Join a leader of their industry with more than 20 years experience in their trade, a long-term partner of multiple large industrial brands nationwide who are experiencing strong growth and an organisation that is that is passionate about delivering quality products.

As a nationwide operator the right candidate will be required to do some travel through all states to effectively manage the full distribution chain.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to CFO

Develop and implement supply and distribution strategies utilising new trends

Assist, manage and drive supply and distribution budget

Manage stock levels for distribution to meet sales and marketing plans

Align delivery times and transport costs to distribution budget

Implement training plans for team members to achieve objectives

Compliance with Dangerous Goods

Oversea and manage daily operations requirements

Key Requirements

Proven success in best practice warehousing and distribution including mutli-site operations (2-3 Years)

Proven to be highly organised and successful leader

Ability to collaborate across departments and effectively communicate

Strong negotiation skills

Goal orientated with excellent analytical skills

Relevant tertiary education

Integrity & work ethic

Contribute to company culture (positivity & clarity)

Long term commitment to the business

Technology Experience

Sage Accpac / Phocas / Microsoft office suite (advanced)
